Brief
Following a successful launch year for ‘A fresher way to celebrate’, Chapel Down needed to build momentum and deepen the campaign platform.
As category leader, the brand had to defend its position against a heavily investing Nyetimber, while continuing to make English sparkling wine feel fresh, modern and relevant.
Solution
We gave ‘A fresher way to celebrate’ more meaning by expanding the campaign beyond traditional moments of celebration and into the smaller, more personal occasions that deserve bubbles too — the big little moments.
The paid campaign included nine executions across stills and motion, running from Meta to the big screens at Ascot. This was supported by a wider PR, activation and sponsorship calendar, including Pub in the Park, Ascot and The Boat Race.
We also helped facilitate a brand partnership for a Chapel Down summer terrace at the legendary Stafford Hotel in London, giving the campaign a premium real-world expression.
